Fresher's Cafe is at 3, The Courtyard, Rothay Rd in Ambleside, open Thursday to Sunday for breakfast, lunch and cake.

Our menu runs from full breakfasts and bacon baps to quiche, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and toasties, with homemade cakes on the counter. Dine in or take out.

“After looking at Google reviews for somewhere with yummy fresh food we found Freshers and it didn't disappoint! I say down fully ready to order a jacket potato until we were shown the quiche, fresh from the oven and the jacket plans flew out the window. The quiche was so amazing both me and my husband immediately ordered another slice to go, along with a rather generous slice of cake each. The smoothies were pretty good too! Will definitely be heading back next time we are in the area.”
